Revainrating 2 out of 5

I don't know by what standards they compare to

I don't think I've used them for a month and they disappoint in many ways. No removable earbuds. Get ready to mess around with your own earwax more than you ever wanted. 2. Not loud enough, my phone was fully on, way past the "hearing damage" warning, they were almost loud enough to drown out ambient noise. nearly. because.3. Not only do they NOT cancel out noise, they seem to ENHANCE noise. I tested this TV without plugging in the headphones, the TV speakers in the room seemed significantly louder when I was wearing these headphones. I think the hollow plastic cone works like one of those earbuds that vintage cars use in classic Warner Brothers cartoons. screens. Who thought it was a good design?. These tiny double-layer screens are the easiest to fall out of. Yes, that's what I want to fall out and rumble in my ear canal, a metal screen. When I was trying to clean these things and realized how FREE these screens are, I took them out and threw them away. On the plus side, they got a little louder without the screens. But ultimately the shields served to keep those hollow plastic cones from becoming wax paddles that you can't clean because of the first problem I mentioned. Bonus: the mic was rubbish too, too low on the cord, pick up your voice clearly. I think the only really positive thing I can say is that after spending about a month with these "worst designed headphones I've ever used" they still worked when I put them in the threw trash can. Well, I mean, they worked just as well as ever. These are terribly designed headphones and toning down the horrible design makes them even more horrific and potentially dangerous. The cheap headphones I had in the early 90's that came with my Walkman knockout sounded better and had a smarter design. There are better options for the same price, get the ones that have removable earbuds rather than tiny little screens that are designed to clog and potentially bulge your ear canal.
