Review on SANTUO 12 Piece Stainless Steel 🍴 Dinner Forks Set - Premium Quality and Durability by Adam Johnson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Inexpensive fork set, good weight, good quality, discreet tine shape

How do you rate the fork set? Well I think we all have expectations of a fork, the sharpness of the tines, the spacing between the tines, the balance of the fork itself and its weight. There are other expectations of how well they will match your kit and metal color, edge sharpness, general fork shape, etc. This is where economics come into play. All in all, how did these forks live up to my expectations? Considering the forks cost less than a dollar each, they are economical. That being said, you can talk a little bit about some of the other features, but to be honest I don't need them. I am attaching photos of this fork that I took with some others that I have. One is a generic Oneida set I've had for years and was fairly inexpensive, the other is from a set I only have one place for and was fairly expensive. I like this one for its weight and smoothness. The last one is one of a set I only bought because it had 3 prongs. I was disappointed with this set as it seemed too flimsy, boring and not very good quality. At the time, I thought the price was moderate. Comparing this fork, third from the right, to the other 3, it does a lot better than the 3 prongs I thought were cheap as it is not harsh, well balanced and well finished. It's not as good as my Oneida kit but it's probably more influenced by style and finish and definitely falls short of my favorite which was quite expensive and quite heavy. Comparing the working end of the fork, the picture looks like this: the fork is on the top right, Oneida is directly opposite, and the heavier, more expensive one is on the bottom left. 100 points divided into 4: Expensive fork: Really heavy, good looks and feel, very light finish - 50 points Oneida fork (cheap price): good weight, nice looks, lighter finish: 25 points. This fork (cheap): good weight, nice looks, duller finish - 20 points. matte finish - 5 points As you can see I'm only rating this fork slightly behind the Oneida for the finish, but if you like a matte finish and a simpler design you wouldn't. Maybe you prefer this Oneida connector. The overall shape of this fork and the shape of the tines are similar to Oneida. And it's cheaper. Can not complain.
