I was looking for a flashlight that my son could use with this GoPro to record Youtube videos. After researching all the possible lighting options, I settled on a ring light to get a nice even light. I didn't want anything too big, but I wanted it to have enough light output to get good video quality. This Neewer option is priced right. Besides the price, there are two main reasons why I chose this light. First, I wanted a ring light that would allow you to easily mount the camera in the center of the light, like this one. It actually has a small ball head so you can realistically mount any smaller camera with a standard ¼ mount. The second reason was that this light actually has temperature control allowing for color temperatures from 3200K to 5600K. The gooseneck on this light makes it incredibly easy for my son to position his camera/light at almost any angle he can get. With. It's not a fragile neck. It appears to be an all-metal construction and is fairly rigid, so it can actually support a bit of weight. He can use the included clamp to attach it to his desk, eliminating the need for an additional tripod. I love that you have a USB cable to power this light instead of the standard power cable. Since it is USB powered, it can not only plug the flashlight into a traditional power outlet (with a regular USB adapter) but also into a USB charger, so the whole setup can be taken anywhere without worrying having to worry about the usual power requirements for most sources .Sveta. 80 10W LEDs provide amazingly good light. More than enough for the YouTube videos my son will be making. Finally, the flashlight also comes with a nice carry case, again making it a good choice for taking videos on the go.
