I used Leuco Tape (without a protective roll) to protect the cornea on a weekend hike and can only report positive things! I love hiking but always get blisters on my heels/ankles. I've tried sports tape, moleskin, bladder balm, different socks, and nothing helped on those long hikes. This product comes with a roll of Leucote and a roll of protective roll that you set aside to protect against blisters. but I think it's useful for "packaging" the material meant to stabilize the joint. The Leukotape is tear-resistant, so take small nail scissors with you in your backpack. My feet were sweaty and soaking wet, the tape wouldn't come off the heel and I DON'T get blisters. I ended up switching the cassette on my heels to a new track the second morning just because I could. The tape removed in a snap and didn't peel off the skin as some reviews warned. Perhaps this is due to the large amount of moisture that accumulates on the skin when hiking. The glue is very sticky, but it only took a few seconds of washing in the shower to remove the excess glue afterwards.
