Bought this cable for my car so I can play on my iPod. I've used cheaper cables found at Walmart which last a few months and then get weird for me and need to be replaced. This cable is great for that purpose. It withstands bumps and shocks while driving and does not turn off. plays in stereo. Great little cable - both 1/8" plugs. The only downside is that the plug is too thick for playing and charging my iPod nano in the car like other cables with smaller plugs have allowed me. Can be used on long trips be annoying, but should last much longer in everyday use.
