Electrolux, do better

I'll start with the following: if you choose Electrolux, you expect high quality, design, decent materials, reliability and comfort. Electrolux is the same as Volvo in the automotive world - not top luxury yet, but very dignified and intelligent. A respectful choice, of course. But something went wrong with the iron - I couldn't believe it was an Electrolux when I opened the box. Worn scratches and cheap plastic in the middle part of the iron - even some $30 models look better. During ironing, I constantly press the mode switch and often check it - this is an ergonomic problem. Pros: great vapor performance, long cord, roomy water part, no leaks so far, nice color combo (rose gold and black looks great). Cons: cheap plastic, scratches even on a new item, ergonomic issues. Conclusion: As a big fan of Electrolux, we have several household appliances, but next time I will be more careful when choosing. We decided to leave it and not return as it's good stuff overall. The only problem is that the iron doesn't live up to the brand's standards. Electrolux, do it better.
