These athletic shorts are incredibly comfortable. They stretch and move with the body. I was worried they wouldn't look good on my heavier build. I am a very seductive person and he fit/looked very good on me. My husband says they make my butt look great. The pockets are unobtrusive but quite deep. You could definitely put a phone in there. I would even feel comfortable putting my keys in during a workout and trusting they wouldn't fall out. I would buy them again and definitely recommend to friends!
