We're a cat shelter so this is a real gem for us. Ideal for kittens and occasional use by mother cats. But the size is such that it is extremely limited for pet use. We have six permanent feline residents and I wouldn't put it down on any of them. It's just too small. While the instructions given are accurate, they are accurate for the top of these trash cans. But the edges are slanted. The bottom size is only 10 x 14 inches. That's just not enough space for a typical house cat. 5 stars for kittens. Completely useless for adult cats. Also, the information provided with this product encourages you to recycle it. If they don't need your used pizza boxes, they definitely don't need your used trays.
