I travel a lot - I typically fly over 100,000 miles a year, mostly short distances and to destinations where I live before work. I carry my laptop, work laptop and full-size tablet, two cell phones, and all the cables, chargers, etc. you need these days in ziplock bags. I also often have to carry documents with me. My previous bag was leather on wheels with a shoulder strap and fell apart on the inside after 5 years. It was a replacement for the same model that also died about 5 years later when the shoulder strap attachment broke. The current model doesn't have a shoulder strap and as I used it more than the wheels I replaced it with this 17 inch leather Polare shoulder bag which I received 2 days after ordering from Revain which is a bit intimidating if You put things in another pocket and then have to worry if they'll still slip "under the seat in front of you" after you fill them out. The amount of options where you can store things! There is a narrow compartment on the back that I use for a logbook and documents. The next section has a full width Velcro pocket on the top of the bag. I slip one of my laptops in where the other laptop fits comfortably outside the same compartment. These aren't the 17-inch behemoths that some tend to carry around smaller 13- and 14-inch laptops, and yet it's amazing that when you zip it up, the back of the bag doesn't protrude at all, just swallowing up two laptops . Since they're not 17 inches wide, I'll slide them both to the same side, and in the room next to them I have a zippered pouch with power adapters and power cords for both computers. The middle part of the bag is padded and could be used for another 17 inch computer but I have a tablet on the end and a few more cables, chargers and small hard drives in the pockets but all the space is empty. The next section has several pockets for pens, maps etc. with a large pocket behind the pen holder where I keep things like a mobile mouse with flashlight (Microsoft RVF-00052 Arc Touch Mouse) and a tidestick ;-) (always take it with me! ) It has a zipped pocket behind it to store things like passports. As someone said, there is no "built-in" key clip, so I attached a wire luggage tag through the zipper on the back of this section and attached a key fob holder, so that would be the logical place. I have a spare glasses case in this compartment, but it's far from full. There are two zipped pockets on the front that I use to store things like security badges, cell phones, USB keys, etc. They expand more than you would expect. Once the bag is full it is actually easier to zip up as the sides of the bag are held in place, the zips and clasps are very heavy and as previous reviews have said so is the leather; it is at least twice as thick as my previous bags. So now I have a bag full and zipped. It is much lighter than my previous bag as it has no frame or wheels and the strap connects to the bag in such a way that it hangs neatly over the shoulder and doesn't try to slip off (a habit of my previous bags). ). The bag doesn't look crowded even with the above stuff, stands upright and, more importantly, easily fits "under the front seat" even in the MD-88 on the bus. ' but I highly recommend people who travel as much or more as I do to consider this bag as it offers everything you need and looks good doing it.
