A must-have for your makeup bag

Okay, I've got a few years on me. I am a senior and have tried my share of the products. I used to use makeup sponges - wedges that can break. You were fine. I've been seeing these egg shaped beauty blenders for a while now and thought they would be a huge ploy to charge more for the frelling sponge you can get in a huge pack at the dollar store. However, I kept seeing them, so I decided to give it a try. This is a very different sponge than cheap wedges. They are much denser and softer against your skin. They also grow very large when fully saturated with water. These sponges are also easier to apply to the base - not much waste is wasted since the base floats on the surface of the blender. This makes it really nice to apply the foundation evenly and doesn't allow too much to settle into nooks and crannies. I can dab around the creases with the wet side to make them less visible. These beauty blenders are a whole new ball game.
