This year I bought a few packs to hang on the tree instead of the usual Christmas lights. Now they have been actively used every night (6+ hours) for the past 2 months. The battery life is fantastic with none of them fading or needing a battery change. Small clips made it easy to attach to the tree. Each kit comes with its own remote, but I've found that one remote works with multiple kits. My only complaint is that I initially had a hard time getting them to fire with the remote control. Even if you are in a tree and use the same remote control for multiple sets, you need to walk around and point the remote control at different areas, and 2-3 candles will light up at once, not all at once. It's the same when you turn them off. However, this is not a problem for us at all. They look great and far exceeded our expectations. The slow and fast flicker options are as realistic as can be without the reality.
