Review on New York Doll Collection Red Color by Jose Strong

I ordered this as a Christmas present for my almost 3 year old daughter. The heart print fabric is adorable and everything seems sturdy and well made. I bought a high chair set and packed and played but to my surprise I really liked the chaise longue. Little did I know when I ordered that it rocks like a rocking chair - a nice feature that I know my little girl will love. The backrest also folds down a bit, not quite flat like a high chair but just enough to make stowing a bit easier, which is appreciated. The high chair is stable. The seat is large enough for all types of dolls, has sides and a strap to keep the dolls from falling out. However, the food tray could be improved. It is very short/flat and far from the seat. I imagine there will be some frustration when imaginary foods fall off the tiny tray easily or don't fit at all. play does not work like a full package. It comes in pieces, lots of wands that snap together, and yes, it comes with a carrying case that holds all of those pieces, but the only way to make it smaller for storage is to take it apart. It's not really difficult, but it takes longer and more detail can be lost. Our house is small and storage space is limited, and the easy-to-fold-and-stow, easy-to-open features of this set were my biggest selling point, and as it turns out, the largest item in the set doesn't have that feature. This company sells doll packaging that folds up like a big one. But you need to buy it separately for $20. It's not the same as in this set. The pack n play sides in this set also seemed big to me. Sure, it's still tiny, but as I set it up, I wondered if my 2.5-year-old daughter would have trouble tipping over on the sides to get her kids in and out. She definitely had to stand up for that. Also, there are no grids on the bottom of this backpack, the bottom is just fabric that sags and touches the bottom when you put something in it. N Kolor (same price as the NY Doll Co. set) and Mommy & Me ($5 more than the other two)) to compare with this NY Doll Co. set. with much shorter sides than the NY Doll Co set which makes it easier for my 2.5 year old daughter to work with (she should be able to tend to her wrapped dolls and play while kneeling beside her instead of to stand) The Mommy & Me high chair was identical to the NY Doll Co. high chair. The high chair in the Fash N Kolor set was significantly smaller than the other two, had a weaker seat, and was easy to tip over, but the tray on it was much larger and roomier than on the other trays. every 3 sets. The fabric used in the Fash N Kolor kit was much thinner than the other two kits and may not hold up. I am returning this set and the Fash N Kolor set and keeping the Mommy & Me set. I really liked the heart print material, but the packaging and game in this set was a deal breaker for me.
