I am gradually adding smart devices to my home. Being closely connected to the Apple ecosystem, I've been trying to make my devices compatible with Apple HomeKit. Unfortunately, this hasn't always been easy as the number of devices is much more limited than those that connect to Alexa or Google Home. I found this lightbulb and decided to give it a try. That's twice the price of lightbulbs that work with Alexa and Google Home. The function of the lamp is excellent. Adding with HomeKit is as easy as scanning a barcode. Light on/off control, brightness and color control are excellent. Only small frustration I have with the light control and that has to do with adjusting the color temperature of the light for standard lamp colors like warm white, bright white, daylight etc. These color presets are not set in the app. There is a color wheel so you can type in exactly what you need, but it would be nice if they had default color buttons. I recently switched all light bulbs in the house to daylight. It would be great to have a daylight button or to be able to ask Siri to set the daylight color. So far I have not found such an option. It was also the perfect lamp for me.
