instructions say use any cream you like so i used some shea butter and put on socks for about an hour and my heels are so smooth and even my leg muscles felt better. The sock label says 95% Polyester, 5% Spandex, and Fel Ling. The gel is fortified with slow-release vitamin E, mineral oil, jojoba oil, olive oil, and grapeseed oil. It also has washing instructions: machine wash delicate in cold water and dry flat. Not sure about the cost but the socks really seem to match the ad so I think they're worth the money. I think Gaiam will have a good customer service department if you have any questions.
