But they work fine.

I have 2 trailers so I bought 4 lights thinking I'll get 2 pairs of lights. nope; I have 4 left and no right. Is it important. If you just flip the left one over and put it on top of the right one, it's not waterproof and the license plate light will shine straight up. Otherwise there are no complaints.
