good tent. very spacious

good tent. very spacious. I like being outside, but I don't like getting sunburned or being bitten by bugs. This tent closes securely. this is my second home. I have a chair, a small table, electricity and an air mattress. Before setting up your tent, buy a tarp to cover underneath. I took 2 6x8s and connected them together. I got them in a big box nearby and didn't specify the size of the tent. They were just right for the tent stakes. THROW THEM OUT. I looked at them and realized they were useless. I have had 2 Sportbrellas since 2012 which I have used to death. they protect against the sun, but do not help against insects. I dug the tent pegs out of my sweatpants and used the ones I don't need for the tarp and raincoat, they're fine for the tarp but I don't use them for the raincoat. We had two days of heavy rain and strong wind. the joke pegs attached to the raincoat came loose and i actually got into the tent. everything else went very well. Lifting was a little difficult. Lay the tarp on the ground, pitch the tent and secure the corners with the good pegs you bought. Put long and short sticks in the right pockets. It is important. There is a Velcro fastener on the bottom of the raincoat. while still on the ground, attach the raincoat to the tent with Velcro. Otherwise, you'll end up trying to throw a very slippery piece of king-size fabric two feet in the air over another piece of slippery fabric. This activity will cause a significant amount of swearing and fun for the neighbors. Since I'm not very tall at this point, I asked my husband to get in the tent and hold the middle while I screwed the long and short poles into the grommets. attached to the tent pole. You must use the pegs that come with the tent. It's a strange setup, but it works. discard the rest. There were curses at this point as it is difficult to hook the poles into the small grommets, but both the tent and I survived, set it up with the windows in the path of the prevailing wind are for you to get a nice breeze and enjoy.
