Review on 🪑 Sojoy Supportive Firm Gel and Memory Foam Seat Cushion: Ultimate Comfort for Home, Office, Outdoor and Camping by Peter Alradwan

I ordered this gel pad about a year ago and have used it in my car ever since. I ordered a second one for use in my home and was surprised to find it was a completely different (recycled) seat cushion. The first was a simple seat cushion with a gel pad sewn into the cover, which was then placed in a zipped, washable, soft-to-the-touch cover. The top is nice and soft while the bottom has a texture that keeps it on the car seat or chair. That's great. When I opened the new one, the two layers of padding weren't sewn into the protective cover, but simply stuck into the outer cover. The top fabric isn't that nice and the bottom only has texture on the half and it's in two parts held together with velcro, no zipper. Instead of a simple handle, there are carry straps, a shoulder strap, and hooks to keep everything together. The original price was a little lower, but it has been completely revised and made cheaper. And it has an odor while the first one I bought had no odor at all. I had major back surgery 18 months ago and now I have very few places to sit comfortably and the gel pad helps make my life a little easier. It's a gel but at the same time firm and firm is just what I need to sit comfortably. The new one is softer and thicker and doesn't fit me. What a big disappointment! It is already packed and ready for return. In my opinion you can remake a product but improve it and not make it a cheaper version of a good thing. Maybe leave the original available for people who are NOT looking for any extra frills.
