These shoes went in the bin last Friday, I ordered these shoes for my 3 year old in March and in less than 3 months they were unusable. The first day the inner elastic lace broke and we fixed it (our mistake we should have returned the shoes straight away), my son loved his red shoes so we humbled ourselves and kept them. He still doesn't wear them every day because he changes colors (yes, he loves both blue and green shoes) and last Friday he came home without the metal loop holding the Velcro so the shoes could no longer be worn . These shoes are very low quality, they fall apart so easily and quickly, they don't feel like a rite of passage, they're just a waste of money.
