It was easy to assemble but a few screws were missing. I got it to work but it was immediately felt on the armrests but I managed. Soon the armrest started rotating and you had to slide it in or out, which is an odd feature. After only a few months of use the recliner broke which I worked on until the back was no longer supported. It was like flexible pool noodles falling forward or backward. This chair was expensive. But the quality of the welding was incredibly cheap. My partner and I are average height and weight, absolutely no reason for this to fall apart anytime soon. I threw away the backrest and used my computer chair until I could afford a decent gaming chair. At least the footrest still works. my cat likes it I just put a towel on the computer stool>. <Save money and do your homework. I use it longer without a back than with a back. It literally hurts me to this day. I knew it wouldn't last forever, but falling apart after a few months is absolutely absurd and frustrating. To be honest I felt helpless with this bad buy. I like (d) their size. I got stuck on this stool for making a fool of myself
