Review on πŸ›οΈ Richards Stacking Risers for Beds - Wooden Bed Lifters, Set of 4, Honey Finish, 4 Count by Sanny Hoffman

Better than plastic

These bed risers aren't bad. I like that they are made of wood and I don't have to worry about the plastic suddenly tearing. I think the tree array description is misleading. While the center isn't hollow (it's a solid piece of wood), the bottom is the same as the top. That means the same furniture leg recess that's on top is on the bottom, leaving about an inch between the center of the block and the floor. The center of the block sits on cutouts in the outer wooden frame, but my set was poorly carved and cracked. I didn't believe that, so I tightly stuffed the lower space with cardboard so that there was solid material between the block and the floor. The build quality could definitely be better. I wouldn't stack them either. I tested them folded before using them on the bed and they rock LOTS when folded. However, when used as a single layer, they are perfectly stable. The wood itself is thick and durable. The furniture leg notch is true to size and will fit a good sized leg. In addition, many people report slipping on a wooden floor. This is easily fixed by sticking pieces of tape to the base of the blocks. I made it for myself and I had no slippage. Overall I think they are better than plastic but I think the cost is a bit high for the build quality and block height.
