This backpack was first used during a day at Disneyland. I needed something that could hold a couple of 40 ounce water bottles, a few small items, had a large compartment, and was quick to access. It worked great. He even went on two boat trips and nothing got wet inside, although the backpack got a little splashed. The magnetic snaps on the main flap straps were a lifesaver and held up great with constant access throughout the day, and the zippers worked as they should and pulled smoothly to open. I'm thinking about ordering a second backpack, love this one. so much. You could very easily carry at least a 14 inch laptop in a back laptop bag with a charger, a mouse, some textbooks, maybe a desktop external hard drive with cables and still have room if needed. This is a very roomy medium sized backpack suitable for a variety of use cases be it school, vacation etc.
