There's a lot to like about this charger/alarm clock, but there are a few things I would do differently. Of course, if you're getting this, it's because you want a wireless charger with a few extras. In that sense, this gadget delivers. You get a built-in clock (with two separate alarms), a night light, and a Bluetooth speaker. Of the three, I find the clock to be the most useful feature. Others are cool, but today's phones are so advanced it's difficult to justify these features as essential. 1) The clock is great. Even in all three dimming modes (see my photos) you can still see clearly during the day. However, the downside is that in the dark, even the lowest settings are quite bright. Red is said to be better for sleeping areas so I would replace them with red LEDs whenever possible. 2) The night light is a nice touch, but I found the position of the capacitive buttons on the side made them vulnerable. is activated by simply moving the watch. You reach out to adjust the angle so you can see the time and finally turn on the night light. Then spend another 2 minutes trying to find the right button to turn it off. Again, the improvement here is that the night light button should be somewhere that isn't as easy to touch. 3) Bluetooth speaker works fine. There is an on/off button on the side of the charger that controls the BT radio. After pairing, turn it back on and your phone will reconnect automatically. Here's the rub... If your phone has terrible speakers, they're better than the little speaker behind the charger. Also, the speaker faces backwards, so your sound will be reduced anyway. Obviously for the price the speaker is what it should be, but a few bucks more and the speaker could really be upgraded to compete with the best wireless speakers, making it worth using instead of your phone's built-in output. ) The best thing about this charger is the charger and I am very happy about it. Often companies create devices with additional functions and forget that the main function works at all. With the included 9V power bank, this charger charges my Galaxy phone very quickly both vertically and horizontally. Thus, the device works as both a charger and a watch, which I think makes a difference. . The night light and BT speaker are bonus features that could and should be improved, but they don't detract from the fact that this is a good device that works as it should.
