I love these bobby pins! I have natural curls. My individual strands are thicker because they're naturally curly, but I don't have "thick" hair. I've always had trouble with most hair clips because the part that's next to your head is usually rounded where the clip connects. It doesn't work for me because I don't have a lot of hair. They are flat and sit right next to the scalp which is perfect for me! I had to leave the can open for half a day because of the smell. Completely gone within a few hours. Neither the clips nor the box smell at all now. I am very happy with this purchase and the colors available in the set.
