I had these belts before and bought new ones because I lost weight. They are of very good quality, look good and wear well. Some complained about the size, abrasion and stretch. Follow the sizing instructions and you shouldn't have any problems. I had no problems stretching at all. As for the damage. My homemade gun belt was frayed. As with any piece of leather, a little buffing and buffing or just saddle soap and buffing will make them look great and be very comfortable to wear. These bands are great for the price. If you want thicker, higher quality leather or lining, spend more money.
