Wow. I don’t know where to start) It’s 2022 in the yard, and I still use the old man’s plug. I have the following config: Intel Core i5 2.6Ghz, 8 RAM, 500 GB SSD. American version. It has a fresh Catalina on it. Honestly, I'm still shocked by the fact that it works at all, it's also so fast) Current problems: - One speaker broke - The battery is very tired, but even with this fact, it can plow for 4 hours at an average load without recharging. (the problem is solved by replacing the battery) - The coating of the display matrix or oleophobic (I don’t know what exactly) deteriorates: there are a lot of spots and muddy stripes along the edges of the screen. It happens gradually, for reasons unknown to me. I wipe the screen only with a cloth included in the kit. Manufacturer's recommendation: lightly dampen a cloth with water and wipe the screen with it. Without any alcohol liquids, etc. I read somewhere that there is such a problem with screens. Replacement is expensive. I cleaned the insides for the entire period of operation only 2 times at the masters. With the advent of fresh axis firmware, it’s getting harder for the old man to take out my requests. Although I think this problem would be calmly solved by the presence of 16 GB of RAM on board. It’s a pity you can’t upgrade, due to the complexity of assembling the insides. It would take a long time to explain this. The laptop even took out AutoCAD working in Parallels, it was needed at one time for study. The laptop is definitely not for gaming. Firstly, on a poppy, a very hemorrhagic installation of ported games, and secondly, hardware is simply not intended for these purposes. He doesn’t even take out the old nfs MW, let alone more serious games. Well, for these purposes, I have a console, so I'm not very sad)
