Review on 🏠 Paine's Log Cabin Burner with 10 Cedar Incense Cones by Lillian Rodriguez

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great log home, not so much cedar!

I love this log burner! I love it so much it's the second one I've bought to have the same thing in a different area of my house. It's pretty cute and homey and we love watching the smoke coming out of the chimney. The only problem I have is cedar cones. The first cabin I bought had short, thick balsam sticks, which we liked so much that we bought a box of 72 balsam sticks. They smell great and burn really well. What can not be said about cedar cones. I do not recommend them at all! They are attached to each other and you have to break one off carefully, which is difficult as they are VERY easy to crumble and break. I managed to break off the first one entirely, but despite the fact that I was VERY careful with it, the cone fell apart in half. I broke off another one and managed to light it before it broke too (it crumbled a little more in my hand). It doesn't fit the hole in the cockpit, so I slipped it over the metal ring and watched closely. It burned VERY quickly and my family wasn't impressed with the scent (very light) like balsam fir. The good news is that the short balsamic spruce poles are perfect for this cabin and we already have a box of 72! (Just a warning - do not buy 2" salon balsamic spruce sticks! They are too thin and will not fit the salon hole, although they are excellent for firing in another holder and are exactly the same as the shorter, thicker ones balsamic spruce staves but for their size I would give the cabin 5 stars but I would give the cedar cones 1 star.
