These are good children's pants. They have a modern fit, not like sweatpants. My daughter usually wears 5T and they fit but are a bit longer as expected. A drawstring waist and elasticated ankles let you lengthen the fit downwards. So if you go back to a size four between sizes, the larger will likely work well and have room to grow. The quality is good, they are medium weight which is good for a chilly summer evening or for wearing at home in winter.
