them all the time. They work great for most applications. This cable is no different. I use them to charge my phones and tablets with no problems. I also use them to transfer data between devices with great success. However, as Anker states in its description, this cable charges multiple devices at a reduced capacity under "Compatible Devices (Limited Charging Speed)". If your device is listed in this section, you should understand what that means for your situation. In my case I have a 15 inch MacBook Pro (MBP) and when I just use the MBP itself the anchor cable works properly. The problem is that the MBP comes with an 87W power adapter, but you can only get 60W if you use the Anker cable. If you don't make big demands on the MBP, that's not a problem. However, when I connect my 12.9-inch iPad Pro and also use Windows 10 in Parallels, the Anker cable doesn't work well enough to handle that extra load. I can see that the battery level is slowly decreasing. In this situation I have to use an OEM cable for full charging capability. Anker lists devices that have limited charging speeds for some reason, so shame on the customers who left bad reviews for not reading and complying with Anker's specs and information.
