I like this straightener because it's so easy to use. I bought a 1 inch white flat iron. The plates glide so smoothly that my hair doesn't get caught. This straightener didn't pull my hair out or leave a burning smell like many other straighteners in the past. It has multiple temperature settings, you choose the temperature control and there is a red light that flashes, once the red light stops flashing and stays solid red the straightener is ready to use. It also comes with a great locking feature to keep the panels together for better storage! The cord is long so you don't have to stand near the outlet. I used the flat iron at 374 F, some strands had to be twisted several times. Great value for money. I would recommend trying it.
