This tote bag is very expensive. They brag about being made in the USA. The radio is made in China so they can make the case there and sell it for 1/3 the price. In any case, a case is a must if you carry the radio with one hand. It's too risky to use the built-in handle when the radio is hanging precariously just by your fingertips. The pocket on the back of the suitcase is small, I would have liked it to be a bit wider. There could have been more in it and that would have corrected the look. It is suitable for power cords. There is an odd strap on the front that eventually goes over the top of the radio and secures the bag. Going straight through preset button #4 is really clunky. The buttons are firm enough that they can't be accidentally activated, but it looks like a sloppy, late design. As expensive and crappy as this case is, you really need it if you're going to take the radio with you wherever you go. You could make some cuts in the top two corners of the radio to accept an easy carry handle.
