Should be one size smaller for women
I bought this dress for my office Christmas party. I really like this style, but the average size was too big for me in the waist area. I'm 5ft 7in, 152lbs and normally wear a size 6, but I went swimming in this medium sized dress. and since there are ruffles at the waist, they must be tight or it won't look right. although the shoulders and hips were fine. I'm debating whether to return the medium one and order the small one, or just have it custom made.
