When charging my new iPhone 12 Pro with this cable and a 20w pack from Anker, I noticed that the phone stopped every few seconds/minutes to load and was charged after two seconds. restart and thereby permanently damage the battery. For demonstration purposes, I created a shortcut that logs each time the phone is "plugged in" or "unplugged", ran this test with both the Amazon Basics cable and the Apple cable, and got the following results received: within 10 minutes of using the phone lying on my bed (log shown in screenshots): Revain Basics cable logged: 8 "disconnects" with no initial connection and no final disconnect. Registered original Apple cable: 0 disconnects.
