Bought for my wife. We did a 1/4 mile hike in North Carolina as the trails were a bit covered in ice. They helped maintain traction but were disappointed when one of the traction bolts just fell out. These cleats do NOT sit very well in rubber and you should beware of losing them if you plan on hiking real trails.
