I use them to dry my face after washing. They are soft and absorbent. I've used paper towels in the past, but I don't think these towels are any less comfortable or less absorbent. I can't say anything about longevity as I don't use it rough and deducted a star because of the packaging. It's sold as an eco-friendly product, but each towel has been tied with string and shipped in a plastic bag. I have a feeling that plastic can easily be substituted for a cardboard box and unlikely anyone will save this thread/thread for anything else.
