Gloves lick between thumb and forefinger. When I first put them on it was snowing (but only around 0C) and the snow softened the skin a bit and water got in between my thumb and forefinger. and fingertips too little. Fingertips get painfully cold when wet and I've experienced this even on colder days (-5C) when dry. So the insulation at the fingertips is poor. The only reason I give them 2 stars instead of 1 is that they are comfortable (XL) and seem to be well made; Otherwise I am very disappointed to see other positive reviews.
