5 year old loves these shoes! They are very flexible and wide! Super easy to put on and take off by yourself. Open big. Ideal if you live in a colder climate or like to go hiking/walking, play outside a lot. These shoes are thick and soft. Wide enough to add thicker socks if needed for very cold days. 4 stars because the suede-like material on the ones I started wearing the top layer after a few weeks as you can see in the picture but for the price it's not terrible and doesn't affect anything. The material is still thick enough to keep feet dry.
