I have bought several glow bracelets for cycling and burns. They're pretty good for anyone, but they'll die. Some of mine are badly rusted around the battery compartment - I think it's entirely from sweat and not rain. Most others, even without rust, just stopped working. They're cheap and handy and changing the battery is easy (no screwdriver needed) so I can keep buying new ones but don't expect to use them for years. I use them monthly and I think less than half the last few years. (I've tried other brands and in my experience they're all pretty much the same.)
