7 years of use - not sure about new handle style

My kids have been using Funtainers Thermos for 7 years. This style does two things I need: they don't leak, and they stay cold until midday. (Last year my daughter wanted to drink from her milk even during lunch at home, so I know they won't alter the taste of her drink.) Both of my kids can't drink cow's milk, so they drink plant-based milk. to school, camp or car trips. Just ordered 1 more of these sealed, chilled beverage containers now that school is back in person; extra so I don't have to wash them every night. BUT I'm not sure how the new grip will hold up. Does it seem to resolve after disturbing the user too many times? I will ONLY update if it breaks. (Pictures show the 'new handle' versus the original.) Children don't actually use the handle, but the new style is made in such a way that if the handle breaks there will be 2 holes in the lid. Tips I Learned. Years: Place just the empty can (without the lid or straw) in the fridge overnight OR in the freezer for a few minutes in the morning to keep the can colder longer on the go. It's not necessary, but helps on hot days. Ask your child (or you) to rinse out the thermos when they get home. A simple rinse with water is not a waste! :) - through a straw helps from constipation. If you forgot to pre-rinse, make sure you have a good straw brush or pipe cleaner. parts last longer.
