Incredibly comfortable yet supportive. 36D ordered. The soft material and the elasticity of the fabric ensure a very comfortable fit. The group is very forgiving so no red marks at the end of the day, at least for me. It was so stretchy that I considered ordering my little sister's bra size (34DD) but decided to stick with my normal size. (I tried on size 34DD at the store, although the strap was stiffer, the cup size didn't fit either) I needed a stronger strap, so wearing it on a medium hook set gave me a good balance of support and comfort. The band is sewn so it doesn't lift, pucker, pucker or fold like the Maidenform Smooth Luxe line. If you have a little more fluff in this area than you'd like, this should give you a firm hold without creating a lot of extra "roll". They have so-called "cloud foam cups”. They are much softer, slightly more flexible and more comfortable than molded cups. I find that the cup conforms more easily to your natural breast shape and offers more support, especially if you have less breast tissue in the upper chest area. The material is also very smooth but doesn't bind like the Maidenform Smooth Luxe series. Although it has lace at the top, it fits under many t-shirts. The side panel measures 2 5/8 inches at its shortest point. This is very helpful if you have extra skin/tissue/fat in that area. really helps smooth it out without making you look like a stuffed sausage.
