Height is approximately 50 inches when fully extended and 16.5 inches when collapsed/folded. It switches easily from landscape to portrait to get the right angle/shot and the phone mount is pretty solid. It even has a built in bubble level which is a plus. It's lightweight and perfect for travel, camping, hiking, taking selfies with great backgrounds and group shots. You no longer have to lean your phone against a tree, branch or rock. Also, because of the remote shutter, no one has to do what is missed because they took the picture. Comes with remote shutter release, phone holder and pouch. It's versatile, fairly stable and very happy with this tripod for use with my phone!
