Stand does not lock (stand height is pushed sideways, instead the stand just moves and obviously holds it nothing in place). This item should never have passed quality control (if any). Funny, when I reported that the product was defective, I was asked to send it back. Will it just be sold at that price to someone else (otherwise there's no point in sending it back) who wonders why the stand is so unstable? Are they hoping someone will decide it's not worth the time to go back and just keep it? If you don't want to risk wasting time and receiving a defective product, choose another brand. This product is poorly made. In its current state of disrepair, it would be more efficient to lean the table against a water bottle.
