Although the shelves arrived in perfect condition and the installation process (turning keyholes, dowels included, screws included etc.) was familiar compared to previous projects I've completed hanging the shelves and testing their resilience got to the wall, even knocking the shelf over to keep the screws in the latch ruined the keyholes for the shelves. Then it turned out to be nothing more than reinforced cardboard. Given the previous feedback on the placement of these bathroom shelves on this site, I am now very dismayed by these revelations and am now questioning the strength and compatibility of these shelves in my bathroom. Now that the keyholes are partially damaged from a hard but light tapping, I cannot confirm that this shelving system can hold the advertised 10 pounds per shelf. I also now doubt how long they will survive in a small bathroom and being exposed to moisture. I would also advise everyone not to use the wall anchors that come with them as they break easily and encourage people to buy white screw body anchors instead of the streamlined straight ones they give you whether they open into the wall or not . Better to feel this locking with screw anchors than not!
