This corkscrew is awesome! It's simple and understated. I like that it charges via USB. Has been working reliably for several months now. I only found one cork that was too tight in the bottle and the corkscrew couldn't remove it. It appears that the device has a clutch that slips when the plug cannot be unplugged. I stopped immediately, flipped the corkscrew, and then used a large hand corkscrew. The cork was difficult to remove even with a manual corkscrew, so I don't think that corkscrew is to blame. I also found that the device does not allow you to start the engine after the corkscrew has reached the top of the propeller stroke. The device stops rotating when the plug is on the screw, which prevents the device from breaking. The battery life is excellent. I've pulled out 20 corks and it's still going strong. Shows 1/2 battery on the display. A tip: before starting the engine, make sure the body of the corkscrew is centered on the bottle and vertically aligned (aligned) with the bottle. I was sloppy and tilted it at an angle to the bottle causing the corkscrew to go through the cork at an angle, which obviously hampered the device a lot. I stopped and backed up, then straightened up and pulled. Worked like a champ! I highly recommend this corkscrew!
