Review on 🐶 Freeze-Dried Dog Food by TruDog by Amy Wilkins

While the ingredients and idea for this product are noble, I have noticed one major drawback. One of my two dogs eats their food in less than a minute which is already a problem but with an added element of danger with this feeder. After eating this on the 2nd day I noticed after 2 or 3 minutes my beagle/bull mix just sat very still and then started crying for about 10 seconds which I had never noticed before. I tried to comfort him but really didn't know what to do. He lay down for a few minutes and seemed fine after a while, but it definitely scared me. I went to check out this product and noticed that it contained some very sharp coin sized bones. While controlled chewing on larger bones is fine for both of my dogs, unexpected small sharp bones are not good, especially for a dog who doesn't necessarily chew. his meals. So now I have to search the whole bag to remove all the bones I can find. This is simply unacceptable and hence the reason for a 2 star rating and a warning to other dog owners, particularly 'mockers'. Update: Upon closer inspection I looked and couldn't tell if they were tiny bones or small. sharp and hard bits of white skin or other body part. I sent the item back as a precaution. But I wanted to be fair to the makers of this product in case it gets confused with bones.
