I have tried these boots on 3 times and my dog and I traditionally walk 3 miles each day. In winter, it is very difficult for my dog to control it during a walk due to the passage of salt, snow, mud, etc. (paws get wet, collect salt, snow collects in paws and freezes). So I was hoping that this would help us deal better with the transitional land cover. All four boots kept falling off on the first walk, for three blocks I was furious because there was so much effort to keep stopping, trying to put the boots back on/clean them and start over. Neither fun nor relaxing so I quit. The second went a little better, but one boot in particular kept slipping off. Eventually I removed it and moved on without it. On the third outing, one of my boots fell in the snow and I couldn't see it, and I didn't have gloves or anything to shuffle through the snow to find it. These boots are not worth the money or the hassle and I am very disappointed. They go in the trash.
