NOT suitable for cutlery!

I needed a large cutlery rack that I could use for easy access to our counter. I don't think our cutlery is smaller than a typical family, but ours barely rises above the top of the holders. Big pieces too! We have small and large forks and spoons. The smaller ones don't even reach the top edge of the compartments. The BIG PROBLEM is that they slide through the wire holes as well. I believe if you place the cutlery carefully it will look and function beautifully. But grabbing and placing multiple spoons out of the dishwasher will result in the spoons slipping through the slots in the wires. Clear baskets can solve the problem, but finding the perfect fit may not be possible. I had my crafty husband make some wooden toppers (with sides to prevent cutlery from sliding down the sides) to put in the compartments. However, he's not too happy about it and just wants me to return it. ;around(
