I decided to order these socks because I have a shorter ankle length so I thought I was right. They fit just like the others (for reference, my shoe size is 7 1/2 and a size S/M fits perfectly) and I love that the smaller version fits my smaller feet. I'm the type of person who likes to wear socks as tight as possible (one of the reasons I love these socks is that they fit snugly but aren't too tight) and they don't give me the heel that I normally do get. One size for all socks. The only thing I don't like about them is the wriggling of the seams touching where my pinky fingers have the extra thread, giving that awkward feeling that I'm sure most of you have experienced when you have the extra thread rub. . your little finger Another note: the picture is a misrepresentation of how high you can put these socks on. You can see in the picture that they don't go up very far, but if you want to pull them up even further you can, as I can pull mine all the way to the top of my calves with no problem.
