Ozeri runner 3D Pedometer

This review was written from the perspective of someone who needs a stroller for precise walking and jogging, but isn't interested in tracking cumulative movement 24/7. Most new brands focus on 24/7 operation and auto-reset at midnight, but I do sports differently. I like to record/log walk/jog as separate events. Surprisingly, many of the newer models don't have a manual reset - you have to wait until midnight to reset for the next event. What a spasm in the brain! So the good points first: 1. Ozeri has a manual reset (as well as all 24/7 Auto features). 2. After 27 separate 3-mile walk and jog tests, straight-line walking and jogging step accuracy is 99%+ (less than 1% error). For those interested in full 24/7 movement I'd say this Ped is sensitive and accurate but rightly so is a bit muted so it doesn't record every little movement of your hand as a step like some others do . The control buttons are easy to find but not easy to accidentally disturb, so you won't find out by the end of the recording that you accidentally ruined the recording.4. Strong clip. The screen is easy to read. Comes with a lanyard some can use.5. As with most pedestrians, Walk Mode recording starts automatically when you move. But to record in run mode, you first need to press the start button - which is good because it ensures your run data is isolated and controlled. This will also start the timer. You might need to work on remembering to press start to run if you're used to autoplay, but I like it. Minor Dislikes: 1. The instructions say the input increment is only 0.5ft, which makes your heart skip a beat until you later realize it's a typo, and it actually increments 0.1ft . On the first ped, I entered the stride length in feet instead of inches, but that's not a problem.2. Having the percentage of the 24 hour goal constantly displayed in the bottom left corner is annoying because I don't use it.3. The default home screen shows the time of day and steps, while I would have preferred steps and miles to be displayed by default. Generally a precise, strong, beautiful ped.
