I bought the SteelSeries Apex Pro for $200 to replace my Logitech G910 and I liked it so much I decided to use it at work (I'm the office guy who has a Gaming keyboard used for work but I'm a programmer so people expect that). I didn't want to move it and couldn't justify buying two so I chose it as a middle ground because it's basically a cheaper version of it, the only difference between Apex 5 and Pro is that the 5 uses a plastic case. has no additional USB port and Apex Pro mechanical switches that allow you to control the actuation point of each individual button. However, despite the Apex Pro's advanced features, I found that I enjoyed typing more on the Apex 5 despite being cheaper. The clicking feel of mechanical switches is just too satisfying for their own good, and I honestly miss them when using another keyboard that costs twice as much to type on. Now I'll admit one thing: I haven't tried them for gaming and I really like the Apex Pro for gaming because I can make some buttons more sensitive - it doesn't have that feature - but I can't imagine it would be bad be if that is what you are looking for. It's also a lot louder than the Apex Pro, but when I told one of my colleagues who was sitting next to me, they said they didn't even notice. I recommend you try this keyboard. Don't be put off by the fact that it's not technically 'mechanical', it still feels amazing.
