My wife has a sense of smell that dogs envy. She found a natural gas leak in my backyard neighbor's fireplace that the gas company needed a digital analyzer to confirm. She often complains about the "sewer smell" coming from the basement (which nobody can smell). I threw away those bamboo bags of charcoal and hung them up, hoping my wife wouldn't have to ask me to look for a gas leak in the sewers again. FAILED! I still have to go down into the basement for about an hour once a week to (pretend to) look for the source. Bamboo charcoal didn't save me?!? Aaaah?!?!?!
